Global positioning systems<\/a>, or more commonly known as GPS<\/a>, are widely known as the common inclusion in cars to allow us to move about where ever we wish to travel and know exactly where we are or where we\u2019re heading and can often give us instructions when we\u2019re in a bit of a pickle and not sure which way to go. It takes just four or more satellites for a receiver whether it be a GPS system or your phone to work out where you are but sometimes up to 10 satellites can band together to create a stronger connection and give you more understanding of your exact location. This is a simple way of explaining also how features such as find my phone can still work without having the location services set to on, as the signals from your cellular are triangulated and a portion of your location may be presented to you, in turn allowing you to find missing or stolen devices, or even find a missing person in some cases if that phone is on them, so it certainly a handy invention for this world to have their hands on.<\/p>\n

As long as you\u2019re in car GPS<\/a> is constantly updated, you\u2019ll have no trouble finding your way from one point to another although due to not being connected to the Internet it will not show your exact location, it can however provide you with plenty of areas to explore and specific maps including four-wheel driving and off-road mapping leading you to hidden campsites and adventure tours throughout Australia. Imagine how much you could expand your adventures simply by knowing where to go or where you\u2019ve been, if that isn\u2019t a reason to get yourself a car GPS<\/a> for your old school 4×4, then I don\u2019t know what is!<\/p>\n
