Plus you\u2019ll get two spanners inside to fit it all together. So your first step is pull the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">Tourer<\/a> out of the box, double check you\u2019ve got all the correct parts and then you can begin!<\/p>\n<p>Inside the packaging you\u2019ll also find a comprehensive set of instructions that show you how to mount your new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">Tourer Roof Top Tent<\/a> on your vehicle, whether you want to fit it off the side or the back.<\/p>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve decided which way you\u2019ll mount your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">Tourer<\/a>, you\u2019ll need to fit the alloy rails to the base of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">tent<\/a> and fasten them on. (If you\u2019re mounting your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">Tourer<\/a> off the back of your vehicle you\u2019ll need to trim these to fit.)<\/p>\n<p>Once the rails are tight you can fit the ladder mounts \u2013 keep an eye on these and remember which side of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">tent<\/a> they\u2019re on, then you can fit the PVC cover by sliding it into the sail track and then zipping it up. Then you\u2019re ready to lift the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">Tourer<\/a> onto your vehicle \u2013 have a mate help you as they are too big to lift on your own. Make sure that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">Tourer<\/a> is positioned correctly so that it will fold out the way you want \u2013 the ladder mounts should be opposite where you want the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">tent<\/a> to fold out \u2013 if they are, you\u2019re ready to fit your mounts and tighten down your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">roof top tent<\/a> onto your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/roof-racks.html\">roof rack<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To fit the mounts first put a bolt on each of the alloy mounts, lift the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">Tourer<\/a> one side at a time and slide four mounts into the track. As you lower the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">tent<\/a> down, ensure two of these mounts are positioned toward the front of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">tent<\/a> and either side of a structural tube of your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/roof-racks.html\">roofrack<\/a>. The other two mounts should be towards the back of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">Roof Top Tent Tourer<\/a> and again positioned either side of a structural tube.<\/p>\n<p>Repeat the process on the other side of your vehicle \u2013 making sure all four mounts are positioned correctly. Once you\u2019re happy with the positions of the mounts you can fit the steel plates underneath the roof rack and tighten it on with the included nylon locking nuts. Tighten each nut then double check them to ensure they\u2019re tight after your first drive and after a week, in case the tent has vibrated them slightly loose.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, you can fold the PVC cover off the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/rooftop-tents\/adventure-kings-roof-top-tent-with-annex.html\">Tourer<\/a> and then fit the ladder. Use the included bolts, spacers and nylon locking nuts to fix the ladder to the mounts. Make sure it\u2019s positioned with the plastic locking tabs facing upwards so you can access them when necessary to extend the ladder.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s it!
