Gazza starts to setup the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/camping-gear.html?page=1\">gazebo<\/a> <\/strong>while Barry unfolds out the 270-degree <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/camping-gear.html?page=1\">awning<\/a> <\/strong>on the <strong>camper trailer. <\/strong>Underneath both the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/camping-gear.html?page=1\">awning<\/a><\/strong> pulled out from Barry\u2019s <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/camper-trailers.html?page=1\">camper trailer<\/a><\/strong> and also Gazza <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/camping-gear.html?page=1\">gazebo<\/a> <\/strong>is a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/camping-gear.html?page=1\">mesh floor<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next morning the crew head off to a new campsite towing their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/camper-trailers.html?page=1\">camper trailers<\/a><\/strong> they discuss the necessity particularly on Fraser Island for planning your trip around tide times and the differences between hard and soft sand. John on the other hand grabs his <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=2\">single seat kayak<\/a><\/strong> and speeds off, quickly following Barry and Fred unstrap from the roof of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/camper-trailers.html?page=1\">camper trailer<\/a><\/strong> their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=2\">double kayak<\/a><\/strong>. They both go flying passed as they have strapped to the back of their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=2\">kayak<\/a> <\/strong>an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=2\">electric trolling motor<\/a><\/strong>. While the crew has some fun on the water using their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=2\">SUP<\/a> <\/strong>and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=2\">kayaks<\/a><\/strong> they have a yarn about the background of some Fraser Island\u2019s history, particularly mentioning the recent name change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s time for some beach side tucker. After some fun in the sun the crew has earned themselves a quality lunch. Under the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/camping-gear.html?page=1\">awning<\/a><\/strong> and on top a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/camping-gear.html?page=1\"><strong>mesh floor<\/strong> <\/a>the crew whip out the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/camping-gear.html?page=1\">gasmate voyager portable gas BBQ<\/a><\/strong> and cook up a storm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s enough fun it\u2019s time for some work, the crew cast their lines into the iconic Platypus Bay. A picturesque Platypus Bay sunset, sets over the crew as they cruise along using their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=4\">electric trolling motors<\/a> <\/strong>and fishing from their<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=4\">kayaks<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They reel in some absolute beauties using the travel rod and reel. The crew discuss some information of Platypus Bay both about its great fishing opportunities and if in season the ability to whale watch. \u00a0Fished for the day the crew begin to pack up their watersports gear. The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=2\">electric trolling motor<\/a> <\/strong>is rinsed to get rid of the sea salt and then placed in the back of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/camper-trailers.html?page=1\">camper trailer.<\/a> <\/strong>\u00a0Robbo deflates his <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=2\">stand-up paddle board<\/a> <\/strong>and rolls it into the carry bag, whilst both Barry and Fred strap their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=4\">double kayak<\/a> <\/strong>to the roof of the<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/camper-trailers.html?page=1\"> camper trailer<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can\u2019t get much fresher than this. The crew setup up at Waddy Point for the night and begin to teach us how to fillet the fresh beauties they just pulled from the sea. You can\u2019t beat a fresh fish cooked over a fire so luckily Kings has them covered. The crew crack out the Kings <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/camping-gear.html?page=1\">camp oven stove<\/a><\/strong> and run it using heat beads thus having a completely legal self-contained fire. With the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/camping-gear.html?page=1\"><strong>camp stove<\/strong> <\/a>now crackling away the crew teach us some tips and tricks to cooking a beautiful fresh fish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The crew exploring everything Fraser Island has to offer towing their legendary <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/camper-trailers.html?page=1\">camper trailer<\/a><\/strong> with them. From the towering sand grown trees of the Central Station boardwalk and the centuries old subtropical rainforest of Pine Valley. Tucked out from the hike the crew brake out their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/swags.html?page=1\">swags<\/a> <\/strong>and have a quick nap. legally part of the bruise highway the crew tow their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/camper-trailers.html?page=1\">camper trailers<\/a><\/strong> with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=2\">kayaks<\/a><\/strong> strapped to the roof and cruise down the infamous 75-mile beach know as Australian\u2019s beach highway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its time again to crack out the water sports gear as the crew float down the crystal-clear waters of Eli Creek on their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=2\">SUP<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=2\">kayaks<\/a><\/strong>. For a bit of history, they explore the rustic ruins of the Maheno Shipwreck washing ashore in 1935 the Maheno was once a luxury cruise liner but is now an iconic part of Fraser Island. Fred then cracks out his <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=2\">bodyboard<\/a> <\/strong>and goes for a quick surf afterwards to wash the salt of he uses a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=2\">camping solar shower<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding a splash of colour the crew marvel at the breathtaking technicoloured sand cliffs and the dreamtime stories that come with it. For some added adventure the crew trek a sandy trail for a refreshing dip in the emerald-green oasis of Lake Wabby. Robbo couldn\u2019t help himself so he grabbed his <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4wdsupacentre.com.au\/products\/water-sports.html?page=2\">stand up paddle board<\/a> <\/strong>and went for a quick paddle. At Indian Head the most easterly point of the island, the crew spot some spectacular marine life at the base of the headlands consisting of turtles and stingrays.
