So, let\u2019s compare the old to the new and show you the proven features we\u2019ve kept as well as what we\u2019ve upgraded and updated to make them even better. Meet the Adventure Kings Stayzcool Fridge\/Freezer<\/a><\/strong> range\u2026 combining the best parts of our existing camping fridges<\/strong> with a re-engineered and overhauled design with exciting new features you\u2019re going to love \u2013 plus a huge 5 year warranty! There was already a wide range of Adventure Kings Camping Fridges available, ranging from 15 litres right up to 75L, but now we\u2019ve added a range of feature packed, premium Adventure Kings Stayzcool Fridge\/Freezers<\/a><\/strong> to the range including a 45L, 60L, 75L and 90L.

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First the heart of the stayzcool fridge range is a genuine SECOP compressor. The 45L and 60L Stayzcool Fridge\/Freezer<\/a><\/strong> models use a Secop BD35F and the 75 and 90L dual zone Fridge\/Freezers<\/a><\/strong> use the BD50F – these are a variable speed compressor that you can run on eco or max mode for better efficiency or faster cooling! We\u2019ve used SECOP compressors (formerly known as DANFOSS) for years and years in our Adventure Kings fridges<\/a><\/strong> due to their reliability and efficiency and we\u2019re continuing that high quality tradition in the new range of Stayzcool fridges<\/a><\/strong>. Plus, all four models in the Stayzcool Fridge<\/a><\/strong> range have both a DC input for 12 or 24 volt and a 240V AC input so you can plug them directly into the power point. The awesome thing is, that even if your portable fridge<\/a><\/strong> is plugged into a 12V socket, as soon as you plug in the 240V cord, the Stayzcool Fridge<\/a><\/strong> will detect it and auto select 240V to save your battery power. That makes it even easier to use them as a portable drinks fridge<\/a><\/strong> at home or to pre-chill them before you head away for a trip when you\u2019re using it as a camping fridge<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 As well as that there are two USB ports so you can charge your devices right from your fridge!

Another new feature is the second DC input on the other end of the 12V fridge<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 which means it\u2019ll suit your setup whatever way you position your Stayzcool fridge<\/a><\/strong>! And once you\u2019ve positioned your portable fridge<\/a><\/strong> it\u2019s even easier to access \u2013 with the lid or lids opening from either side without needing to adjust anything. Just press the handle on whichever side you want to open \u2013 or press both buttons to lift it off completely for easy access which makes loading and cleaning your portable fridge<\/a><\/strong> a breeze! That means no needing to remove and rotate like on older single zone fridge<\/a><\/strong> models, and you\u2019re not limited to one option like on older dual zone fridge models<\/a><\/strong>! All 4 of the new Kings Fridges<\/a><\/strong> have been upgraded with 50mm insulation \u2013 that\u2019s a big upgrade for the single zone 45 and 60L camping fridges<\/a><\/strong>! Plus we\u2019ve added a recessed section into the underside of the lids to improve insulation even more \u2013 as the lid closes this fits right alongside the fridge insulation to create a double barrier. It\u2019s the same story on the Kings Dual zone portable fridges<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 the improved recessed lid increases the insulation properties and decreases thermal bridging \u2013 that\u2019s where heat is able to transfer through a material and enter your fridge. Older camping fridge\/freezers relied entirely on the seal, while the new Adventure Kings Stayzcool Fridge\/Freezer<\/a><\/strong> range utilise this recessed section to prevent the heat getting in and the cold getting out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The high quality, reliable and efficient SECOP compressor, along with the digital controls allow you to set your fridge or freezer anywhere from +10 to -18 degrees and simply relax knowing your food and drinks will stay icy cold. In the case of the 12V Dual Zone Fridge\/Freezers<\/a><\/strong> you\u2019re able to set both sides to individual temperatures \u2013 whether you want both sides as a fridge, both sides as a freezer or one side set as each! On Adventure Kings Dual Zone Stayzcool fridge\/freezers<\/a><\/strong> you can even turn off one side completely to save power or to suit shorter trips. Continuing on the outside of these updated camping fridges<\/a><\/strong>, they have retained the tough powder coated exterior from the previous Dual zone models and now carry it through the whole range. We also improved the corner protection and strength with beefier reinforced edges and corner pieces. Plus we improved on the protection from the elements! The older Kings camping fridges<\/strong> <\/a>had open ports and air vents that allowed dust or water splashes to potentially get into your electronics or cooling fan. With the modern Adventure Kings Stayzcool<\/a><\/strong> range, all power sockets are protected from the elements with fitted rubber caps, plus we designed the housing for the electronics with downwards facing louvered air vents to better shed water for greater protection. Sure they\u2019re not waterproof, but they are now a lot better protected against the kind of situations a portable camping fridge<\/a><\/strong> will often be used in!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
