Here at Adventure Kings, we have a bloody sweet gig. We get to play with all sorts of camping gear<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 both the full range of Adventure Kings camping gear<\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong>plus lots of products in the research and development phase, well before they ever officially start to be offered at Australia\u2019s favourite camping store<\/a><\/strong>. I\u2019ve been spoilt for choice for years when it comes to choosing what camping gear<\/a><\/strong> to take away with me on my own personal adventures \u2013 whether it\u2019s a rooftop tent<\/a><\/strong>, a new camping fridge<\/a><\/strong> or even camping solar panels<\/strong>.<\/a> But you know the funny thing? Even after all these years I still get so excited about camping in my deluxe swag<\/a><\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a funny thing. I don\u2019t even really know what causes it, but there\u2019s a awesome feeling I get everytime I pull my Big Daddy swag<\/a><\/strong> out of the garage and open it up to check it is ready to go camping in on an upcoming camping adventure. I\u2019ve spent so many nights in my Kings swag<\/a><\/strong> and a big part of how excited I get is probably a lot to do with the fact that I know I have an awesome night\u2019s sleep ahead of me. Whether that\u2019s because the deluxe camping swag<\/a><\/strong> is so comfy, or just the fact I know I\u2019m going to have a couple of coldies around the campfire with my mates, I\u2019m not sure!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think I love camping in a swag<\/a> <\/strong>so much because it\u2019s so easy. There\u2019s just no hassles or headaches to it \u2013 just roll your double swag<\/a><\/strong> out on the ground, add the end poles and the centre pole, peg down the two ropes and you\u2019re set! Packing up your swag<\/strong> <\/a>is so easy too \u2013 it\u2019s literally just the reverse of the setup procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t get me wrong, I love my rooftop tent, and in fact I have a Kings Grand Tourer rooftop tent<\/strong> <\/a>that I use as often as possible too. But I just love the simplicity of a swag \u2013 and how Aussie it is camping in your double swag<\/strong><\/a>! Especially out in real red dirt country \u2013 nothing beats rolling out your swag on the red dirt and getting a fire going with some good dry hardwood, then settling back to do a bit of navel gazing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also love just how easy it is to transport my double swag<\/strong> <\/a>to and from the campsite \u2013 half the time I just chuck it in the back of the 4WD and head away, the other half of the time I strap my Big Daddy double swag<\/a><\/strong> to the roofrack with a couple of ratchet straps and head bush. And because I use one of the oversized canvas swag bags<\/strong> <\/a>to store my Big Daddy Deluxe swag<\/a><\/strong> in, I\u2019m able to leave all of my bedding in the swag when I roll it up \u2013 that means two premium sleeping bags<\/a><\/strong>, of course my bedsheets and four nice comfy pillows. Yeah you can go \u2018rough it\u2019 all you want, I reckon I\u2019ll have the sleep of my life in my double swag<\/a><\/strong> thank you very much!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And when all my mates are struggling to set up their fancy pants over-priced tents, I\u2019ve got my swag<\/strong> <\/a>setup and ready to go in a couple of minutes. That leaves more time for the really important things, like checking that the lemonades in my camping fridge<\/a><\/strong> are at the perfect temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s hard to beat how dark you can make it inside your Kings double swag<\/a><\/strong> too! Look, sometimes I like getting up early and getting the fire going, and other times I really like laying in bed and having a sleep-in for a couple of hours. And with both sides of the Big Daddy Deluxe swag<\/a><\/strong> zipped right up, it\u2019s so dark in there that you honestly would struggle to tell the difference between 4am and 9am until you open the zipper. In other words, that\u2019s the idea setup!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that\u2019s not to say that camping is the only time that your deluxe swag<\/strong> <\/a>comes in handy. In fact I reckon for every 2 nights that I\u2019ve spent out camping in my big daddy swag<\/a><\/strong>, I have spent a night in the same swag<\/strong> <\/a>in my mates\u2019 backyards! You know the drill \u2013 you drop over to a mate\u2019s place after work on a Friday night, one beer leads to four and watching the footy, and then you aren\u2019t going anywhere. Instead, rolling out your swag <\/a><\/strong>in the backyard is the perfect solution \u2013 as long as you\u2019ve got it in the back of your 4WD!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve done all sorts of camping over the years \u2013 swag, rooftop tent, camper trailer, tent, the works. I keep coming back time and time again to the Big Daddy Deluxe<\/a><\/strong> because it\u2019s so comfortable, so quick to setup and fantastic in any type of weather!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I even spent almost a month straight sleeping in my Deluxe double swag<\/strong> <\/a>down in Tassie, setting up and packing up every day, moving from campsite to campsite. Ya know what I love the most? It is never a chore to set it up or pack it away. I\u2019d set out the 3×3 Mesh Floor, roll out the swag and set it up, and put my 3x3m gazebo across the top, and I\u2019d be set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The whole setup barely takes more than five minutes from start to finish, is perfect for any type of weather, and it\u2019s hassle free \u2013 exactly what I love. I had a shoulder reconstruction years ago, and for a long time I found it hard to get a good night\u2019s sleep when I was camping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Big Daddy Deluxe<\/a><\/strong> with its 70mm-thick mattress changed all that \u2013 and now I sleep like a log when I\u2019m camping! I reckon I\u2019ve spent over 200 nights in my Big Daddy Deluxe<\/a><\/strong>, and I always get so excited when I know I\u2019m going to camp in it, because I love it that much!
