Built from extremely durable components with longevity and cheap construction being the prime engineering focus of early 4WD’s.

Back in the good old days there was next to no circuitry or electronics to speak of other than the headlights, windscreen wipers and if you upgraded to the full spec model you may have found a small demister fan for those chilly mornings. However with the advent of higher comfort trim found within the more modern vehicles, 4WDers are finding more and more of those creature comforts usually reserved for luxury vehicles even within the base specification 4WD’s running around. These tech upgrades includ climate control, traction control, leather interior, sports automatic gearbox’s and solenoid actuated 4WD systems, it’s next to impossible to exclude the electronic circuitry from the latest high-powered offerings in the 4WD industry!

But to all 4WDers benefit, the industry trend of venturing away from the good old fashioned mechanical fuel injection systems has meant that 4WDers can easily and quickly benefit from some truly “plug and play” power enhancements which require no tuning at all.

With old fashioned mechanical injection, emissions were higher and the only thing controlling your diesels RPM’s was the throttles butterfly valve. Meaning although these motors were highly efficient, horsepower output was restricted by the amount of fuel supplied by the fuel pump.

With many advances in electronic controlled fuel injectors the typical modern diesel engines usually sport a lightweight turbo charger offering more horsepower, incredible fuel economy and grunty low end torque, along with highly refined throttle response perfect for overtaking on the highway.

Although there are plenty of benefits to electronic fuel injection, everything is now controlled by the vehicles ECU, which has a plethora of sensors monitoring just about everything your 4WDs motor is doing, including the position of your accelerator pedal.

From these sensors, even minute adjustments require complex calculations to ensure the correct amount of fuel, air is pushed into the cylinder to prevent excessive emissions being pumped into the atmosphere.

This means that the default sensitivity of your accelerator can feel a bit “laggy” coupled with the small delay in spooling time of a turbo charger, there can be a noticeable delay in putting the pedal to the metal and feeling the engine pick up and go!

This is where the brand-new Adventure Kings Plug and play throttle controllers come in! Built to intercept the throttle position sensor found at the accelerator pedal, these wireless throttle controllers offer a simple to use, plug and play sensitivity enhancement. By intercepting and amplifying the throttle pedal output, you effectively trick your vehicles ECU into ramping up the response, offering seat of the pants performance you can feel, with much more sensitivity and next to no turbo lag. Alternatively, these throttle controllers can be set to a less sensitive setting offering 4WDers less response and better fuel economy.

Installation is simple, all that is required is to unplug the factory throttle connector plug from the accelerator pedal, which send throttle input signals to your ECU and connect the Throttle controllers plugs in-line to intercept your accelerator.

The clever internal circuitry is protected inside a durable ABS box which can be tucked away out of sight, and the heavy duty wiring is protected by a durable braided sheath to protect it from chafing, and from damage from being kicked or damaged underneath your vehicles dash.

Once you have the device connected all you need to do is simply tuck it up and out of the way using a handful of zipties to stop it from dangling if necessary and wirelessly connect to the device via Bluetooth and the purpose made smartphone app available for both Android and iOS.

With 3 inbuilt settings, selectable within the app, you can choose the ideal setting for the terrain and type of driving you like to do!

The Adventure Kings Throttle Control Units have been engineered and made in Austria to ensure they are made from the best quality components, and the highest levels of engineering and are built with multiple safeguards against failure and faults, making certain you are safe and secure no matter what settings you have chosen!

Available to suit over 43 different popular models of vehicle and with the range updating regularly there is a model to suit nearly every application.

Thanks to the advanced technology found in modern common rail diesels (and many petrol motors) you can instantly remove that doughy feeling typically found in factory accelerator pedals and tune the response you prefer for a snappier response for on the tracks and hitting the highways!

The current vehicle compatibility is as
