\n<\/strong>Camping and 4WDing are plenty of fun on their own, but if you are looking for a way to spice up your trips away with your mates. There is nothing more fun than having a wager on the tracks so we have put together 4 fun challenges for you and your mates to tackle next time you are on the tracks!<\/p>\n

With\u00a0the winner of these challenges being crowned the “Adventure King” –\u00a0Do you and your mates accept the Adventure Kings Challenge?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

CHALLENGE #1 – OFFROAD <\/strong><\/p>\n

When off road, the sensible thing to do, would be to drive around some of the big obstacles, like deep mud puddles, or slippery hill climbs.<\/p>\n

We challenge you to find out how far can you get without assistance – take the hard road!<\/p>\n

When tackling this one, use common sense and don\u2019t put yourself or anyone else in danger, also get your Hercules recovery kit<\/strong><\/a> ready and unspool your winch (don\u2019t forget to lock the clutch) this one is going to be a fun one!<\/p>\n

The biggest part of this challenge is to maintain your momentum whilst staying in control, the winner is the person who gets the least stuck, or makes it the furthest before getting bogged down!<\/p>\n

STAKES!<\/strong>
\nThe loser of this challenge has to pay the winner an icy cold beverage (of the losers choice) from their fridge or icebox<\/a>! <\/strong><\/p>\n

PRO-TIP:<\/strong><\/p>\n

By reducing your tyre pressures using a purpose made \u2018tyre deflator\u2019 like a \u2018Kwiky\u2019 tyre deflator<\/a><\/strong> your 4WD will have massively improved grip and control when the terrain gets hairy!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

CHALLENGE #2 \u2013 RECOVERY<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a follow up from challenge #1 above, once someone gets stuck, the clock is ticking!<\/p>\n

When recovering a vehicle safety is our most important factor, but speed can also be a determining factor in how successful a recovery can be. Once stuck the fastest recovery in the group will determine who is the real winner.<\/p>\n

STAKES<\/strong>
\nThe loser has to give the winner a refreshing beverage of choice from the losers fridge or icebox<\/a><\/strong>!<\/p>\n

PRO-TIP:
\n<\/strong>Preparing your recovery before you get stuck will make your overall recovery time much quicker than, digging through the back of your 4WD when you are waist deep in filthy mud looking for the right bits and pieces for your recovery!<\/p>\n

CHALLENGE #3 – CAMPING <\/strong><\/p>\n

When you get to camp, we know you already race your mates to be the first setup. But how quick can you be when there are stakes on the line!<\/p>\n

This challenge is to be the fastest to setup their whole campsite, including Awning wall<\/a>, Mesh floors<\/a><\/strong>, camp chairs<\/strong> <\/a>and your swag<\/strong><\/a>, the first finished is definitely considered the winner, however they must not have taken any shortcuts, all guy ropes must be pegged out, and the winner is the first sitting down in their camp chair!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

STAKES!<\/strong>
\nThis is a test of accuracy and speed, and the winner gets to relax at camp whilst the loser has to collect firewood, and prep for dinner!<\/p>\n

PRO-TIP:<\/strong><\/p>\n

By leaving your bedding in your swag, you won\u2019t have to unpack your sleeping bags<\/a><\/strong>, pillows, \u00a0and by keeping your awning wall<\/strong><\/a> attached to your Awning cross bar, when you roll the canopy away (with the awning wall tucked inside) you can save a couple of minutes of unrolling and fastening the awning wall, with the setup only requiring being pegged out.<\/p>\n

CHALLENGE #4 COOKING
\n<\/strong>
\nSTAGE 3 of the Adventure Kings Challenge is a cook-off! Which is not only a challenge of strategy, speed and recipe, but a challenge of organization, and resourcefulness and freshness.<\/p>\n

The competitors have to prepare their meals within an hour of the challenge beginning including the time taken to prepare and serve the food!<\/p>\n

The first finished is not nessecarily the winner, \u00a0but the best tasting meal will be the true winner!<\/p>\n

STAKES
\n<\/strong>After dinner has been cooked a taste test from an impartial party should be used to determine the winner!<\/p>\n

The loser has to get up early to stoke the fire and start cooking breaky for the whole crew!<\/p>\n

PRO-TIP:<\/strong>
\nBy using a gas powered BBQ like the Gasmate Voyager BBQ<\/strong><\/a> you increase the speed of cooking and you dont have to wait for hot coals to build, but by utilizing an Adventure Kings BBQ hotplate and grill <\/strong><\/a>you introduce smokey flavors that will please the crowd.<\/p>\n

This game can be played on any track and is the perfect way to breed a healthy competition into the way you hit the tracks, remember it is all in good fun, and at no point should any ones safety be ignored.<\/p>\n
