Camping is such an incredible lifestyle and we have some of the world’s best camping opportunities on our doorstep, but all of that counts for nothing if you’re completely put off by the thought of setting up and packing away your campsite for hours every time.

The Adventure Kings 3x3m and 3x6m gazebos have been designed to be extremely easy to use, and in fact feature a brilliant modular design that lets you create your ultimate campsite, incredibly easily! In fact, our camping gazebos are so easy to use that one person can go from ‘pulling up at camp’ to ‘completely setup and sitting down by the fire with a cold drink’ in less than 10 minutes!

Like with any camping gear, we highly recommend that as soon as you get your new Adventure Kings 3x3m gazebo or 3x6m gazebo home, you open it up and set it up in your backyard or driveway. After all, it’s the new toy and you’re no doubt busting to have a go of it! What this does, is allow you to get used to your new gazebo in comfort with no time pressures. Unpack it from the box and you’ll see there are two components to your portable gazebo – the strong yet lightweight aluminium frame, and the heavy-duty waterproof cover. Put the packaging to the side and open the frame up part-way so it sits wide enough to stand by itself without being supported, but don’t extend the legs just yet. Fit the cover loosely over the frame and then you can open it up to its full width and depth, adjusting the cover as you go until it sits perfectly. Now you can lock it into place and extend the legs. In almost all cases, you don’t need to remove the cover when you’re putting your portable gazebo away back into its storage bag. Leave it in place and you’ll save yourself time again when you go to set it up next time.

At camp, setting up your gazebo by yourself is actually a very simple process. Remove your 3m x 3m gazebo or your 3m x 6m gazebo from the bag, and before you extend the legs, open it up to its full width. Pull each leg out a little as you go around the gazebo in a circle, giving each a gentle shake as you go. By the time you’ve made it back around to the first leg, it’ll be close enough for you to lift the frame up into place and click the lock in. When all four legs are locked into place, then secure the cover to the frame with the elastic hooks and you’re ready to extend the legs. If you’re doing this by yourself, extend each leg one notch at a time to prevent one side of your portable gazebo from becoming unstable. Packing away is simply a reversal of this process. If, at any time you feel like gazebo is getting a little difficult to setup, it may be because the legs are getting a little dirty from being used out in the bush or on the beach. A small squirt of WD40 or similar lubricating spray will instantly make it open and close like new again!

It’s even a piece of cake to take your 3m x 3m gazebo or your 3m x 6m gazebo setup to the next level. This can be as simple as adding an Adventure Kings mesh camp floor to keep you up and out of the dirt, or even one of our purpose-built mozzie nets or fully-enclosed gazebo tents! They’re extremely easy to setup and pack away, and they make for an incredibly comfortable camping setup. Use half of your 3×6 gazebo as a tent, and half as an enclosed living, cooking and eating area and the entire thing can still be setup in under 10 minutes by a single person.

Now that’s what we call making camping easy!

Here at 4WD Supacentre, our mission to make camping more accessible to every Aussie no matter what your budget! We manage to do this by offering incredible value camping gear that combines excellent quality with unbeatable prices, but as real 4WDers and campers ourselves, we know that camping doesn’t end the minute you make a purchase!…

[1
