I’ve even made use of my 3×3 kings gazebo on the side of a 4WD track when I had a breakdown. I was down in the hills south of Nowra, NSW when my 4WD started mis-firing, coughing and farting. It was a stinking hot day – it must have been pushing 40°C – and there wasn’t anywhere I could get the vehicle under any decent sized trees for shelter. KINGS 6×3 METRE PORTABLE CAMPING GAZEBO

This literally doubles the 3x3m gazebo’s size, using a six-leg design that adds two extra support legs in the middle of the long sides. Notice anything familiar sounding about that measurement – six metres by three metres? That’s roughly the size (or, more accurately, just a little bit larger) than a standard single car garage. Yep, this portable gazebo is as big as a garage! I’ve used mine as temporary shelter for my 4WD in the driveway, as coverage for my boat and of course while I’m camping. It’s not built to be permanent driveway shelter – for that you typically need council approval anyway – but it does suffice perfectly if for instance you’re spending the day in the driveway installing the latest modifications into your rig, and you need a bit of protection from the sun or the rain.

What about at camp? I absolutely love using a 6x3m Kings Gazebo as a huge communal camping shelter! That’s perfect if a bit of rain comes through of an arvo, like it often does – everyone stays dry and you’re not all squashed under a single awning all huddled trying to stay dry!
