Whilst preparing for camping or heading out for an Adventure people often think of the big and essential items they need to take, but often forget about the little accessories that can drastically improve their time at camp. Adventure Kings, are well and truly known for the big camping and outdoor essentials. But something we pride ourselves on is taking the time and effort to think and design the very best accessories as well. I feel that its particularly not very well known that Adventure Kings feature a number of products that are not only good for camping, four wheel driving and adventures but are also extremely useful tools for everyday life. Most of these particular products fall under the Electrical category. To help educate and spread awareness of these particular product I’m writing this article. In this article I’ll highlight some of my favourite electric products that I actually use to meet my adventure and everyday needs.

First of the list is a Lithium Jump Starter, if you’re after a product that’s good for your everyday and adventure needs a Lithium Jump Starter is certainly it. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve accidently left my lights on or had the radio pumping for too long and have flattened my battery. Both these situations would hardly be an issue If I had a Lithium Jump Starter, rather then searching around for someone to jump start me I could’ve been gone in seconds with a simple zap from a Lithium Jump Starter.  I personally own an old school car built in 1973, and let me tell you the amount of issues I had in the first year of getting it back on the road were far from in-between. A large number of these issues ended with the battery also going flat, so you have no idea how much easier a Lithium Jump Starter would have made my life. I ended up getting a Lithium Jump Starter from my mother for Christmas which sounds like not a great gift, but it is honestly my favourite and most used present I’ve ever received. As you see all my issues happened around town in day to day life, so a Lithium Jump Starter is extremely handy to always have on hand. Therefore, just chuck one in your glove box and have it ready there when you need it.

Due the fact I have an old school muscle car, insurance prices are not my best friend. Not only is my car relatively expensive it’s also incredibly rare an extremely hard to fix. So, if I were to unfortunately be in an accident that wasn’t my fault and damaged the car, I certainly wouldn’t want to be paying the premium. The trouble is unfortunately not everybody out there is honest, so some people try to pretend they’re not at fault even when they in fact are. As there is usually no evidence it simply ends up boiling down to a he said she said which is incredibly hard to prove who’s at fault. That’s where a dash cam comes in handy, a dash camera is a recording device that you mount to your windscreen or dash. A dash cam then records a POV every time you drive, then if an accident were to happen you simply click a button and the dash cam will save the recently recorded footage. This is perfect evidence to have in the event of a who’s at fault dispute. This is important because disputes are quite common as they’re not always caused by people being dishonest. In the heat of the moment, it’s hard to remember what happened, plus the reason for the crash is often because one party thought that that maneuverer was allowed when its in fact not. Therefore, having a dash cam is a great little piece of mind you can install and forget about until you need it most.  

Another handy little tool I in fact also use myself due to my old school muscle car is a Heads Up Display. Due to the fact my car was built over thirty years ago, there’s more then a few features that simply don’t work.  One of those features being my speedometer, and as you known this in fact is a quite important feature of a vehicle. But not to worry Adventure Kings has got me covered again with their HUD Device. A Heads Up Display or HUD for short is a small 12 volt device that sits on your dash and projects your car’s speed onto the windscreen.  It does this by using GPS technology so the only wiring needed is simply plugging in the 12 volt sig socket.

Now an Engine Data Scanner or EDS wouldn’t work on my old school muscle car due to the fact it doesn’t feature a computer system, but I in fact also own a Jeep Wrangler as my daily driver. Unfortunately Jeeps are notorious for engine codes but luckily for me I have myself an Engine Data Scanner that allows me to read and clear engine codes. The way an Engine Data Scanner works is by simply plugging into your vehicles computer system socket and reading the wealth of data behind the simple symbol you see on your dash. After years of owning an old school car I’ve become particularly handy with fixing cars so an Engine Data Scanner can give the information I need. To either fix it myself or realise its too big of a job for me to handle and take it to a mechanic.
