A camping gazebo is one of the most versatile bits of camping gear you can ever take away with you

If you’re anything like, you’re constantly thinking of ways to make your next camping trip better. Here’s the different ways that I have customised my portable camping gazebo for different camping scenarios and setups. Let’s start with the basics! Add the correct sized camping mesh floor underneath your Adventure Kings Portable Gazebo and you’ll have a clean, comfy camp area that offers excellent protection from the elements. That’s why it’s such a great idea to bundle a 3×3 mesh floor with your 3×3 gazebo, and of course there’s the 6×3 mesh floor that perfectly suits the extra-large 6×3 gazebo. I just peg each corner down directly under the feet of the gazebo using the same tent pegs, and in a matter of minutes you’ve got a fantastic area to hang out, relax and enjoy the view!

I always make sure to carry at least two Adventure Kings Gazebo Walls with me when I go camping. That way I can setup a bit of easy protection from the wind, or more often from the afternoon sun. On a hot afternoon, this is the perfect way to get out of the sun and stop sweltering. And there’s no dramas carrying multiple gazebo walls – they fold away so small that I simply pack mine away into my rooftop canvas gazebo bag along with my gazebo and then just strap everything straight onto my 4WD roofracks!

That setup in the previous photo is the perfect way to protect your swag from the elements too! What I often do is set my 3×3 gazebo, gazebo walls and 3×3 mesh floor up as soon as I get to camp, and then use it as an area to relax under until the sun starts to set. Then just as it’s getting dark and I’m getting the fire going, I move the camp chairs out around the fire and setup my Big Daddy Deluxe double swag underneath the camping gazebo!

Add a gazebo tent to your camping gazebo to make it even more versatile!

Here’s a fantastic upgrade for either size Adventure Kings portable gazebo – adding an Adventure Kings Gazebo Tent! These beaut bits of gear are fully enclosable and waterproof, so they’re a legitimate camping tent, but they have a number of huge benefits. Firstly, because they use the frame of the gazebo as the support structure, you don’t need to carry extra poles with you. Secondly, they simply attach with loops to the gazebo, so once your gazebo is setup then you barely need a few extra minutes and you’ve got your 3×3 gazebo tent all setup too. And finally, because there’s no internal centre pole, the space inside them is simply huge!

In the above photo you can see just how massive the room is inside the 3×3 gazebo tent! That’s an Adventure Kings Queen-Size Self-Inflating Mattress I have setup in there, and there’s still heaps of room down the side for chairs, tables and even my dog. And because it’s fully enclosable, I can chuck the dog bed in the corner and zip up the doors, knowing he can’t get out and go wandering at night. It’s worth mentioning that all of those gazebo tent windows are closable too – so when it’s cold or raining, you can stay warm and dry, nicely protected inside your gazebo tent. It’s a fully enclosable tent that attaches to one side section of your gazebo, meaning you get the best of both worlds – you get to turn your gazebo into a proper tent, but then you also still get the added benefit of not taking away that area underneath your gazebo! It comes with a couple of additional support poles but also attaches to the gazebo, so once again when you have your gazebo setup, all you need is a few more minutes and you’ll have your gazebo hub all setup to go too.
