LED DRIVING LIGHTS MAKE LONG DRIVES SAFER!

If you love 4WDing, camping or just going on one of those great Aussie road trips then there’s going to be times you need to drive after sunset and well into the evening – and to make your driving better, easier and safer you really need to add some good quality LED driving lights to your setup. With everything from small number plate light bars, right up to a pair of 8.5” Laser Driving lights with 1 lux of light at just under 2km away, Adventure Kings has everything you need to light up the night for every vehicle. Combine a pair of quality LED Driving lights with a bright LED lightbar and then you can wire both up in no time at all thanks to the Adventure Kings smart plug-n-play harness.

One of the most important factors is being able to see further down the road and that’s really where a pair of LED driving lights come in to their own! For example a pair of 8.5” Laser Driving lights are able to light up the road ahead for miles, giving you 1 lux of light at just under 2km away – that gives you plenty of time to react to any hazards in the distance and gives you a huge safety advantage when it comes to braking distance. People are often very surprised when they turn on their high beam headlights even to compare them to small 7” LED Driving Lights and even to small LED Light Bars. The LED Driving lights or LED Lightbars will blow you away with how much brighter they are than your standard high beams. High Beam bulbs may output around 1500 lumens, but even the smallest 22” Domin8r Lightbar is capable of over 5000 and what’s impressive is that an LED lightbar only uses about the same amount of power as a single high beam. Compare that to a pair of 9” Domin8r Xtreme lights and you see they are able to produce nearly 20,000 lumens per pair – a huge brightness increase over your factory headlights and therefore a massive bonus if you’re doing any night driving on those straight highways, backroads or desert tracks!

The next important benefit of adding LED lighting to your vehicle is the massive spread of light that they offer – just like the ability to see further down the road adds another level of safety, so too does the ability to see way off to the sides of the tracks too. Adventure Kings Driving Lights offer a huge amount of spread, but if you really want to see off to the side of the road then a LED light bar is the way to go! Between your vehicle and about 100m ahead of it you’ll get the maximum spread from a 40” Laser Light Bar with the light peaking at about 100m wide – that’s plenty of light coming out of either side of your vehicle  enabling you to see wildlife or hazards well before they’re an issue. This is particularly important when you’re heading off road in Australian when you’re constantly scanning for kangaroos or farm animals that have a tendency to browse or forage on the edges of the road and can often panic when your vehicle approaches, sometimes choosing to flee right in front of your vehicle – in these cases, an LED light bar will have alerted you to their presence with plenty of time to slow down safely and avoid a collision or any damage. If you’re really after the best of both worlds then a pair of LED driving lights, partnered up with an LED light bar is the way to go for the best combination of spot and spread!

If your vehicle’s headlights are too dark and you don’t have quality LED driving lights you will quickly get fatigued too – both physically and mentally! Physically because you’re straining your eyes to see what’s ahead and mentally because you will swear you see things moving or jumping out in front of you just out of the flood of your lights – plus there is the constant stress that you won’t see a pothole or hazard until it’s way too late so that either can’t avoid it, or it’s dangerous to try. It is not worth risking your vehicle or your safety particularly when LED driving lights and in particular LED Light Bars are so objectively affordable – you can generally easily get a Light bar and wiring harness combo for well under $100 and it will immediately transform your vehicle’s light output and as a result, your safety on your next trip!

If you drive an older vehicle it probably has terrible headlights then of course a pair of LED Driving Lights or an LED Light bar will be a massive upgrade and a huge improvement in safety but there’s also the added benefit that LED Driving lights have a hugely long lifetime so even if your factory headlights fail while you’re on a trip, at least you can rely on having a good amount of light from your LED spotties. In fact, the LEDs used in LED driving lights are generally rated for a 50,000 hour lifetime – that means that even if you left them running 24 hours a day, every day, they’d still be running 5 years later! Yes, the LEDs have a huge lifespan and you can also rely on them to stay running when you punish the lights too! Adventure Kings LED Lights are dust and waterproof and built with tough cast alloy housings with polycarbonate lenses for the ultimate in impact protection! After years and years of testing in tough conditions you’ll be able to rely on your LED driving lights to not only survive, but be just as bright!
