So here are a few road trip essentials from Adventure Kings that’ll make your next big trip, your best one yet!

Food and drinks:

Running a 12v centre console fridge is a cost effective way you can keep your food and drinks fresh and within arm’s reach! Road trips are all about saving money wherever you can and a 12v centre console fridge will save you a bunch in the long run. No more needing to stop at every servo to get snacks- you can simply prepare all of your food and drinks at home and keep them ice cold no matter how far off the beaten track you are.

Say goodbye to roadside assistance:

Gone are the days of waiting for a mate to come and give you a jump start because you left your headlights on. A portable 1000A lithium jump starter is an absolute road trip essential because it gives you the ability to get yourself unstuck if you’ve got a flat battery. It can also be used to charge mobile phones and tablets. Stop and rest:

If there’s one thing you should do on every road trip no matter how long is to stop and take a breather every couple of hours. Scared of the dark?:

If you’re planning to drive through the night, I cannot recommend enough a quality set of LED Driving lights such as the 7” or 9” Domin8r Xtreme’s. Adding extra lighting to the front of your 4wd for your next road trip will not only play a massive role in helping you see what’s way up ahead of you, but it will also help minimise fatigue massively. When driving at night with a standard set of headlights, your eyes are constantly straining to see what’s up ahead. This causes your eyes to get tired and in turn can cause headaches and cause even more fatigue in the long run. One final tip is to plan your trip in advance.
