Travel Oven

February 8, 2022   |   By Travel Oven - image oven-pic on https://news.emgcloud.net/news

At Adventure Kings we can truly appreciate the hunger acquired after a big day of Adventures. After a good day of fun there’s not many things better then sitting around at camp diving into a beautiful meal. That’s why Adventure Kings offers a vast range of camp cooking gear so you too can make the most of your camp meals.

Our newest addition to the camp cooking range is our 12V Adventure Oven. This nifty little thing is so compact it’s great for hungry truckers, tradies craving a hot pie for smoko or those who want a juicy lamb roast primed to serve as you arrive at camp. Not only that but this travel oven is a great way to feed the kids when out and about. So, keep those kiddos chipper with a hot load of crispy party pies in the travel oven as you setup camp. With full bellies have the kids sound asleep before its even time for the grownups to eat dinner and crack a cold one.

Unique to the market the Adventure Kings 12V Adventure Oven comes with a transparent viewing window. The benefit of this is you can check your food is perfectly golden and crispy whether that’s and apple pie or a butterflied chook. But the real plus however is the fact you can do this without opening the travel oven door. Thus, this allows the 12-volt oven to cook at maximum efficiency as you’re not letting the heat out by opening the door. I only wish I had this feature as a child on our family fridge because I can’t tell you how many times, I’ve been slowly perusing the fridge and heard the words from my dad “shut the fridge, you’re letting all the cold air out”.

Another great feature of our Adventure Oven is the set and forget dial. The cooker features two dials one being the temperature the other is a timer. So once you’ve set the temperature dial to your desired temp, the next step is to simply set the timer for how long you’d like your food to cook for. But the best part is for added piece of mind the travel oven will shut off once the timers up. So again, if you’re like me and always forget to turn the oven off at home, this is a great feature for you.

Cig socket connection aren’t very well versed in dealing with heat, which becomes quite a problem as when using an oven heat is obviously going to be involved. That’s why the Adventure Kings travel oven features a hard wired Anderson style plug. These plugs are a heat resistant connection so therefore are much more suited to the Adventure Ovens needs. Not only that but they are perfect for easily hooking up to a battery box or any 12volt setup. Not only are Anderson style plugs more heat resistant they also generate a stronger electrical connection as well. As this is an Adventure Oven the connections need to be able to handle the rough and tumble of those tough tracks. So, this is another benefit of an Anderson style plug they have a secure locking connection ensuring it won’t wriggle loose on those long corrugated roads.

The travel oven is truly versatile and is built for all sorts of adventures and vehicles from trucks, 4WDS, camper trailers or even boats. That’s why the 12v oven needs to be designed sturdy, so those planning on installing it in their four wheel drive who love hitting those off road tracks can do so with no worries. That’s why the Adventure Oven is designed with features such as a strong and sturdy spring-loaded latch. This ensures that oven doors stay shut so your food stays locked inside, even on those tough four wheel drive tracks.

Not only do we want the travel oven to stay shut but the cooker itself needs to be tough enough to handle those wild four wheel drive trails. That’s why the body is constructed from a durable Stainless-Steel construction. Plus, don’t worry the viewing window is just as tough, as it’s made from highly strong tempered glass.

Adventure kings have designed the 12 volt Oven with two removable shelfs allowing for stacks of room, pardon the pun. But as an added benefit these shelves are completely removable. This gives you the ability to one double stack and load up something like pies for either your whole family or hungry work mates. Alternatively though, it also gives you the ability to easily remove the trays for more than enough room to fit that delicious Sunday roast.

As the Adventure Oven is so versatile and can be installed in so many different types of vehicles and places it comes with Included mounting brackets. These mounting brackets can be positioned normally to mount the travel oven in an upright position. However alternately you can flip the brackets around and securely mount the 12v oven in an underslung orientation. This allows for easy installation into anything from your truck cabin, back of your wagon, ute canopy or even your mt1 camper trailer.

Not only are the mounting options versatile but also the range of cooking options. The 12 volt Oven has a temperature range that goes from a low 80 degrees to a high 180 degrees, so you can do it all. This gives you the option to either bake some mouth watering brownies or maybe roast a juicy lamb roast but don’t worry if you’re after a quick feed then the low temp range will allow you to easily reheat those left overs.

So now you can see here at Adventure Kings we take our camp cooking seriously. The Adventure Oven is something we’re truly proud of. So, I hope this article has helped highlight how it can improve your next adventure with its extreme versatility, durability and functionality.
