A sand flag is a quality piece of safety equipment that is hardly ever thought of. When four wheel driving in the desert or large sand dunes along the beach viability is quite poor. However, the real issue is when you’re steaming up a sand dune, sometimes your car can be so tilted that all you see is sky. Although incredibly thrilling the problem is that you have no idea if there is another vehicle approaching over the crest of the hill.  That is where a sand flag comes in handy, as a sand flag extends way above your vehicles height and thus makes it visible behind the crest of the hill. If you plan on trekking the great Simpson Desert than a sand flag is an actual legal requirement. That is why here at Adventure Kings we constructed our sand flag to be compliant with the Simpson Desert regulations. For ultimate convenience we designed our sand flag to be collapsible into three sections of one meter lengths. Plus, it features a travel pouch and quick connect fittings, simply connect the pieces to any height configuration you require and install. if you don’t need the flag, keep it in your vehicle in the pouch ready to go.
