They utilize a rugged aluminium frame system that uses internal twist locking legs and extensions is not only tough but flexible and allows you to set up at any angle on just about any surface from sand, snow, mud and dirt. With the rolled-up fabric out of the way you can unfold your two supporting arms directly out and ready to be set up. Now you can begin to unroll the rest of your awning, once you get your awning fully unrolled you will find the outer frame.

There are two legs tucked away inside the outer frame, you can unfold these, but don’t worry too much about getting them set up to the perfect height just yet, because your horizontal supports aren’t in place your awning will want to flop about, we recommend putting the legs at an angle back towards your vehicle and have a helper hold them in place if it is windy until you can extend locate and tension your horizontal support legs.

with everything locked into place you can adjust the legs to set the height (remember to set one side a little shorter for rain runoff) and retention your horizontal supports to ensure the canopy is tensioned correctly, now you can fasten your awning using the supplied pegs and guy ropes or if you are on the sand using an Adventure Kings Sandbag, or a sturdy reusable grocery bag filled with sand to stop the awning from taking flight in a gust of wind.

The final step is to fasten the Velcro straps on the awning along the horizontal poles to stop the fabric from moving and chafing on the supports.
