There is literally nothing we can think of worse than drinking a warm beer after a hard day at camp, so we’ve put together a list of ways to keep your beers the coldest out of all your mates when you hit the tracks this summer! .

Firstly we need to understand how a fridge works, that way we can figure out the best way to chill our favorite drinks down – when your fridge is plugged in, no matter what the temperature is set to, the compressor will only chill the internal space as fast as it can until it reaches the temperature you have set.

This means you can’t speed things up by setting your Adventure Kings Fridge Freezer down to -18°C in an attempt to chill your beers at an accelerated rate, not only will you have to wait just as long, you also run the risk of forgetting to readjust your temperature with the result being a freezer full of exploded beers.

With this in mind, you’re probably going to have to find another way to chill your beers from warm.

The first thing is first, you will need to prepare your beer cans or bottles ready to chuck into the fridge/freezer to chill down, it takes only a couple of seconds to prepare and will revolutionize the way you think about grabbing a refreshing beer from your fridge!

Take one or more of your favorite frothy beverages, make sure you grab one for your better or you might find yourself in big trouble!

Now grab a roll of paper towel (or unused toilet paper in a pinch) and take enough paper to wrap around the can or bottle once or twice without being ridiculous, if you use too much paper this trick won’t work. Now dampen your paper towel until it is just wet enough to stick to your warm can or bottle of beer and wrap it around the drink leaving the bottom surface of the container uncovered as best as you can, this will prevent it from sticking to the inside of your Adventure Kings Fridge Freezer and creating excess internal icing!

Now into your prechilled freezer stash all of your wet papertowel wrapped drinks inside the Adventure Kings Fridge Freezer (set to -10°C) and seal and latch the lid properly, if your freezer is not cold enough then you will have to wait a little bit longer until its temperature drops cold enough for this trick to work.

A smart camper would set a 15-minute timer on their smart phone, so you don’t pull the beers out too late as this trick is incredibly effective and you don’t want all your icy beers exploding whilst you are getting set up at camp!
