Australia provides us with seemingly endless opportunities to get out and enjoy the bush. As 4WDers and campers, that’s what we live for! These opportunities are also spread out over a huge area, and that means spending lots of time in our vehicles in order to get to the interesting destinations. Now, we often don’t flinch at having to buy gear that we will use and enjoy when we get to our camping spots, but we need to remember that it’s worth spending good coin on gear that will ensure we get there safely. Everyone knows that animal strikes on Australian roads are a regular occurrence, and it’s not just something that people who live in the outback need to be aware of; increasing numbers of deer in many coastal areas is also becoming a concern.
